Sit, Stay, and Roll
April 20 @ 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm UTC+0
Wondering how to celebrate 420 in 2024? I can’t think of a better way than to spend it with furry friends! Come join us in the Pocket Park where Animal House Sanctuary will be bringing their rescue pups who need a little extra love and socialization. They need your help to continue their rehabilitation from the previous lives they have been forced to live before landing at the sanctuary.
“But Cat, I will love the dogs, but what will I do about the munchies while I’m there?”
We have you covered! There will be hot dogs and multiple munchie treats waiting for you! And guess what? There will be some giveaway prizes you can also be lucky to win!
“Cat, does it cost anything to come?”
It will cost a whole lot of chill and LOVE! There will be multiple opportunities to help support AHS while you come hang as well. Donations will be accepted via cash and multiple apps!
“Should I bring my own pet to meet the dogs too?”
This event is focusing on the rescue pups who need continued help and exposure. We kindly ask to leave your pets home for this event. Don’t worry! We plan to have more events like this throughout the summer and fall that will focus on other needs for AHS and rescue pups!
“I love giving doggos treats, should I bring some?”
Some of the pups have some restrictions that we need to be mindful of. We will have treats available for a small donation to lure a pup your way for snuggles.
“I see on that flyer there will be giveaways. What are we talking here?”
We are working on some local donations to auction off for some lucky stoners to take with them. Items will be being posted as they come through, so check back to this event often!
This event is open to everyone! Those who partake and those who don’t. Children are also welcome. We do ask that they are prepped and able to understand how to watch dog behavior or willing to listen to the AHS experts on how to approach certain pups. Those pups that have been identified as not fully child friendly will be separated and still need love from our adults! Most pups who will be coming are human, dog, and child friendly.
